6. My environment for making music data

6.1. MIDI data

To make music data, I referred to sound sources such as CD and radio, and scores. I used the following MIDI sound sources to make them.

  • Roland SC-88ST
  • Roland Orchestral DXi

6.2. MP3 data

I created MP3 data as follows.

  1. I connected SC-88ST's analog output to M-AUDIO DELTA Audiophile 2496's analog input and recorded analog data as WAVE files. Or, I recorded the data as WAVE files using software synthesizers, such as DXi.
  2. I encoded the WAVE files into MP3 files using LAME.
